Mentoring Service for Ex-Offenders: At Formidable, we have engaged in conversations with offenders to ensure that we provide a service that they will genuinely appreciate. We offer a 26-week program to work with ex-offenders, providing support for their successful reintegration into the community. During this period, we will introduce them to personal mentors who will offer support after their release from prison.

We initiate our service introduction to offenders within the last 4 weeks of their sentence. During this time, we hold discussions to understand the goals the offenders would like to achieve within the 26-week period. We can assist them with various aspects such as housing applications, appointments with the job center, CV writing, and overcoming barriers to employment. Additionally, we can introduce them to employers who are open to considering candidates with criminal records.

Our program includes confidence-building and empowerment sessions, aimed at increasing self-assurance and reducing the likelihood of re offending by presenting alternatives to crime. We offer guidance, coaching, and step-by-step advice to help offenders rebuild their lives, fostering positive connections with family and friends.
